Heike Kahles
Consultant for Organizational and Management Development
For almost 20 years I have been supporting international companies in designing forward-looking projects. At the same time I have been assisting managers and employees to successfully deal with upcoming changes.
My target-oriented interventions are based on

Since 1989 I have been working as a consultant for Organizational and Management Development
- in the beginning as an internal, later on as an external consultant
- for German and international clients
The needs of my clients vary as much as the news in the business magazines. The major objectives managers have to fulfill stayed the same over the years - to reach quantitative targets. Also new challenges occurred like managing mergers and managing multicultural, virtual teams.

An essential part of my contribution consists of supporting you in “clarifying goals, inventing new ways to reach them and empowering those people who you want to contribute to the success of your company”.
As an experienced OD consultant I offer plenty of “Knowhow”. This means that I know “how” -with what kind of process design goals can be reached.
My approach for management development does not consist of the usual seminars. Many of my clients, especially those on higher levels of the hierarchy, were already “trained” in all types of management topics. The transfer of the learning into the day to day business is the real challenge. This is why I will be supporting your individual learning needs “in” your very specific situation.
Contribution
Consulting Approach
In each
initial contracting meeting I help my clients to work out very specific goals and success factors.
Dealing with major projects, people of the target group are already involved in this phase- with their goals and ideas.
Usually the knowhow and the skills needed for further development already exist in the organization. The art lies in bringing them out to the open and mobilizing them.
I help managers to make this happen –goal oriented, in time and with a lasting effect.
I design a customized concept and fine tune it in cooperation with you. During the realization phase I´m available for coaching and the facilitation of workshops – process and goal oriented . In those workshops the participants experience “the new dimension of what is critical for the future” in a creative and tangible way. After action reviews with the client and people involved allow for learning and enhance the ability of the organization to manage change. I create awareness for cultural differences (among companies, areas and nationalities) thus providing the opportunity to deal with those differences effectively without slipping into stereotyping.

After having finished university with a diploma in
Business Administration I collected
management experience n the role of an HR Manager. I was a member of the local sales management team which was responsible for sales activities of HP in a central part of Germany. It was during this time that I developed a deep understanding of business success factors. That enables me to put myself into the shoes of my clients with ease. My
